Supporting up to 8TB M.2 NVMe SSD Cases, it meets the needs of more users, whether you need to expand your laptop’s storage capacity or back up your photo library, this SSD enclosure is a cost-effective choice.
It is equipped with a USB3.1 Type-C interface, which can reach up to 10 Gbps to meet your daily data transmission needs.
FIDECO M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure features sandwich-style design, which makes it easy for you to install different SSDs with no tools at all. Also, the sandwich design can make the thermal pad have a better contact with the M.2 NVMe enclosure, so the SSD itself can run in a much cooler operating environment.

Pros:- Aluminum cover is smooth with no sharp edges- Enclosure is very slim and sleek with little wasted space- Realtek RTL9210 bridge chip is used which is known for stability, efficiency and compatibility with a broad range of standards - both USB3.2 gen1x2 and gen2x1 10Gbps along with 5Gbps and backwards compatibility with usb2.0. Also it should support m.2 SATA drives along with nvme.- Included cable is very nice (though unfortunately I cannot currently test compatibility with USB3.2 gen 2 so take that with a grain of salt)- Included thermal pad is stiffer than the usual blue ones and seems more far more reusable. After initially placed on the drive it tends to stick to the top cover which is pretty convenient for swapping drives.- The ball detent mechanism that holds the cover shut is very secure yet still easy enough to open. I don't think I will have any issue with it popping open if dropped.- The enclosure is truly tool free, though you do need to you a little rubber nub to secure shorter drives. There is a plastic clip for 80mm long drives so it's really simple to swap out.Cons:- Bottom housing is made of plastic meaning the top cover is the only real thermal mass and route of dissipation.- Gets hot under extended use depending on the drive and it's efficiency. Writing a 600GB backup to a 1TB Intel 670P took 1hr and peeked at 66 degrees Celsius. The enclosure was very hot to the touch. To be fair, this is to be expected based on it's small size and lack of active cooling but still something to keep in mind. Even if the bottom case was aluminum it would only delay the same inevitable heat build up.This is the perfect enclosure for someone who is constantly swapping drives out to read and clone. Ideally it would work best for a source drive rather than target due to limited heat dissipation ability, but if worst comes to worst, hopefully the drives will thermal throttle.
This M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure worked perfectly right out of the box. I had no issues with installation or performanceeverythings been running smoothly since day one. The slim form factor is a nice, and I really appreciate the tool-less design, especially for quick swaps. The only minor gripe I have is that the heat sink material can be a bit of a hassle to work with if youre frequently changing drives. But overall, its solid and reliable, and Id definitely recommend it.
